Hara Masala Pulao Recipe

Guys this Pulao is incredibly delicious! Don't get intimidated by the long list of ingredients, all this stuff is mostly available in Pakistani households and even if you are not a Pakistani, no matter what country you live in, these ingredients are easily available in the market.

Hara Masala Pulao Recipe

INGREDIENTS
4 cups Basmati Rice
1 Kg Chicken
Oil
3 medium Onions
4 Star Anise (Badiyan)
4 Green Cardamom (Choti Elaichi)
4 Brown Cardamom (Bari Elaichi)
4 small stick Cinnamon (Dar Chini)
2 tbsp Cumin seeds
5 Black Pepper seeds (Kali Mirch)
5 Cloves (Laung)
1 Bay Leaf (Tez Patta)
3-4 Potatoes
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt as per taste
Pinch Turmeric (Haldi)
½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
10 Green Chillies
4 Whole Round Red Chili (Gol Lal Mirch)
1 ½ Bunch Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhaniya)
1 ½ Cup Yogurt
Water

METHOD
Soak the rice for an hour
In a pot put in Oil, cut onions in thin slices and put it in the pot
Put in Star Anise, Cardamoms, Cinnamon, Cumin, Black Pepper Whole, Cloves and Bay Leaf in the pot
Cut potatoes in 4 pieces each and put it in the pot
Add Ginger Garlic Paste, mix and then add the Chicken and mix again.
Add in salt, turmeric and Whole Round Red Chili
Put in 4 whole Green Chilies and Black Pepper powder
Put in half cup water and put on high heat. When the boil comes, reduce the heat, cover the lid and let it cook on low heat for 15 minutes
In the meanwhile put Coriander leaves, the remaining green chilies and yogurt in a blender and blend
After 15 minutes open the lid and put in 2 glasses of water and put on high heat till the boil comes
After the boil put in the yogurt mixture
Now put in the rice and mix. Let it cook on high heat till the water dries. When the water dries, cook on low heat till the rice is fully cooked and delicious.
